Ingredients
- package of bacon, cooked and crumbled. 1 dozen sweet rolls (or flavor of your choice) 1 pound lean ground beef
- ½ cup onion, chopped
- cups Cheddar Cheese, shredded
- 1 can, 14.5 ounces diced tomatoes with garlic and onion. Drained 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp dijon mustard Salt and pepper to taste
- Glaze:
- ½ cup cubed butter 2 tbsp brown sugar 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
- ½ tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tbsp sesame seeds (optional)
Instructions
FIRST STEP:
Preheat the oven to 350*
Cut the choice of rolls horizontally, laying the bottom half on a baking pan sprayed with non stick spray
SECOND STEP:
Sprinkle a layer of cheese on the bottom layer of rolls and bake until the cheese melts
Set the pan to the side
THIRD STEP:
Crumble and cook the ground beef and the onion until cooked thoroughly
Drain any fat off
FOURTH STEP:
Stir in the tomatoes, mustard, salt and pepper and the Worcestershire sauce
Spoon this mix over the bottom layer of rolls in the pan
FIFTH STEP:
Sprinkle with the remaining cheese and the bacon bits
Place the top layer of rolls on
SIXTH STEP:
Brush the tops with the mixed glaze and sprinkle with sesame seeds
Bake uncovered until the tops start to crisp and turn slightly brown.
