Yes Yes! Chimichangas beef and cheese! It’s a fried burrito filled with meat and cheese. Fabulous!!! I can’t stay to part with you all my favourite Beef & Cheese Chimichangas .
° 1 pound minced meat
° 1 can (16 ounces) canned beans
° 1/2 cup finely chopped onion
° 3 cans (8 ounces each) tomato sauce, divided
° 2 teaspoons chili powder
° 1 teaspoon minced garlic
° 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
° 12 warm (10-inch) flour tortillas
° 1 can (4 ounces) chopped green pepper.
° 1 can (4 ounces) chopped jalapeno peppers.
° Deep frying oil.
° 1-1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese.
- Directions :
In a large skillet, cook the meat over medium heat until the pink color disappears; sink. Add the beans, onions, 1/2 cup of tomato sauce, chili powder, garlic, and cumin.
Place about 1/3 cup of the beef mixture away from the center on each tortilla. Fold the edge closest together and up to cover. Fold on both sides and roll. Fasten with toothpicks. In a large saucepan, combine chili, pepper, and remaining tomato sauce. through heat.
In an electric skillet or deep-fat fryer, heat 1 inch of oil to 375°C. Frying chimichangas about 1-1/2 to 2 min on every side . Lay out paper towels. Sprinkle cheese. Served with sauce
