We love that everything in this recipe is cooked in one pan: meat, sauce and pasta.When the noodles are cooked in this way, the water never boils again.
* Ingredients :
° 2 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
° 1 medium sized onion chopped
° 2 cloves minced garlic
° 1 pound minced meat
° kosher salt
° Freshly ground black pepper
° 1 tbsp. Tomato paste
° 1 1/4 c. Low sodium beef broth
° 1 can tomato sauce (15 ounces)
° 1 package (15 ounces) chopped tomatoes
° 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
° 1 tsp. Red pepper
° 1 1/2 c. Uncooked elbow macaroni
° 1 c. grated cheddar
° Fresh chopped parsley for garnish
* Directions :
In skillet on heat, heat oil. Adding onions and cooking to soft, about 5 min . Adding garlic // cooking to fragrant, about other min .
Add beef ground, & cooking to no longer pink, about 6 min . Drain the fat and return it to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
Add tomato paste and stir until combined, then pour in the broth, tomato sauce and tomato cubes. Season with Italian seasoning and paprika, and stir into pasta. Bring to simmer & cooking, stir occasionally, To pasta is tender, for 15 min .
Stir in cheese and remove from heat.
Deecorate with parsley before serving.
