This is grandmothers recipe & you will knows it to first bite.
Very simple and delicious cake!
- Ingredients :
°2/3 cup softened butter
°1 3/4 c (425 ml) sugar
°3 egg (3)
°1 c. vanilla extract (5 ml)
°2 cups all-purpose flour (500 ml)
°1/2 C Hershey’s-Cocoa
°1 C baking-powder (5 ml)
°3/4 tsp-baking soda (4 ml)
°1/2 tsp salt (2 ml)
°1 1/2 cups
°Curd (375 ml)
° 1/3 cup butter or ghee (75 ml)
°1/6 C Hershey’s-cocoa (75 ml)
°2 2/3 cups caster sugar (625 ml)
°1/3 cup milk (75 ml)
°1 c. vanilla-extract
- Methods :
Heat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease 9-inch (1.5-liter) round cake pans with butter and flour.
Beat butter / sugar, eggs, / vanilla in bowl TO mixture is foamy.Combine flour / cocoa, baking powder / baking soda // salt; Adding to butter mixture, alternating with buttermilk, To smooth. Divide dough to greased moulds.
Bake for 31 to 36 minutes
Remove the cake from the pan and place on a wire rack; Let it cool completely.
Melting butter in saucepan on a low heat. Adding cocoa.
Cook, stirring constantly, until soft and slightly thickened. raised from the fire. Pour into a medium bowl. Let it cool until the mixture is very thick (about 40 minutes).
add powdered sugar alternately with milk and vanilla; Mix until the icing becomes spreadable.
Freeze the cooled cake.
Enough 8-10 servings
To make the yoghurt: add 4 1/2 tsp. white-vinegar in 1 1/2 C (375 ml) of milk
