A raised rib in one hand, a glass of beer in the other, and a stack of napkins nearby; the game can begin !
* INGREDIENTS :
° Pork back ribs-1.5 kg (3 lb)
° Smoked paprika – 15 ml (1 tbsp.)
° Garlic powder – 15 ml (1 tbsp)
° Pepper-2.5 ml (½ teaspoon)
° Salt-2.5 ml (½ teaspoon)
° Ground cayenne pepper – 1 pinch
° Brown sugar – 80 ml (⅓ cup)
° Tomato paste-30 ml (2 tbsp.)
° cider apple vinegar 2 tbsp (30 ml)
° Soy sauce reduced in sodium – 30 ml (2 tbsp.)
* PREPERATION :
Preheat oven 160 ° C (325 ° F). Place the rack in the center of the oven. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil (or reusable baking sheet).
Cut the ribs between each bone. Distribut them on baking sheet.
In a small bowl, combine the smoked paprika, garlic powder, pepper, salt and cayenne pepper. Sprinkle over the ribs. Turn the ribs in the dry marinade to coat all sides.
Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour 30 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine the brown sugar, tomato paste, apple cider vinegar and soy sauce.
Remove the foil and brush the ribs with half the sauce. Cook uncovered for 20 minutes.
Brush the ribs again with the remaining sauce and finish cooking under the broiler for 2 or 3 minutes. Serve.
Enjoy!
